In order to take up beneficiary oriented economic programmes suitable to the Tribal families, the Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Development Corporation was set up in the State in 1979. Tripura Scheduled Tribes Co-operative Development Corporation Ltd. is providing various types of Term loans to tribal youths in various sectors i.e. Transport Sector, Agri & Allied Sector, Business sector to make them financially self-dependent. The Corporation is also providing education loans to tribal students for pursuing higher studies.
